Sexual health is a state of physical, emotional, mental and social well-being in relation to sexuality; it is not merely the absence of disease, dysfunction or infirmity. Sexual health requires a positive and respectful approach to sexuality and sexual relationships, as well as the possibility of having pleasurable and safe sexual experiences, free of coercion, discrimination and violence

By each and every one of us doing our part - for to do nothing is to be part of the problem - we can reverse the course of this epidemic. Change is possible through our actions as individuals, families and communities:

  • Be informed
  • Speak openly
  • Use condoms
  • Act with respect
  • Get tested - and treated as needed
  • Get involved

These campaigns also speak to underlying factors that fuel the AIDS epidemic, such as:

  • fear
  • ignorance
  • apathy

By allowing these things to thrive, we allow HIV to continue to spread.
