EVENT FLYER - Saturday April 2 in Fremont Inspire and Protect
The Northeast HIV/AIDS Community Planning Group members want to STOP AIDS and related diseases/conditions in NEBRASKA.
According to President Angi Trann, "We are dedicated to increasing awareness and educating our communities about this preventable disease."
This is accomplished through the following efforts:
- Provide a basic understanding of how HIV is transmitted in an attempt to decrease the fear surrounding this disease.
- Educate through the experience of those living with HIV/AIDS and the people who love and care for them.
- Increase the awareness that HIV/AIDS affects us all as a global community, infected or not.
- Promote the idea that those living with HIV/AIDS need understanding and compassion rather than judgment and that no one "deserves" this disease.
